Sports injury prevention programs are aimed to reduce the quantity and severity of injuries in the sporting population. There is a growing evidence in support of using injury prevention programs in sports and exercise participants of all ages and levels of ability.

Injury prevention strategies are developed based on:

  • Individualised screening assessment tool
  • Overall risk assessment of the sport
  • Analysing risk factors for the age group and sex
